What’s better than dumplings? Dumpling soup! Have you ever heard of Dduk Mandu Guk 떡만두국? It’s a sumptuous one bowl meal with rice cake, house made dumplings, and garnishes of green onions, beef, and eggs brought together in a delicious broth. Signature seasoning includes sesame oil, garlic and peppers to give it that distinct Korean flavor. This dish is traditionally eaten on New Year’s Day in Korea to symbolize good luck and to celebrate gaining a year in age.
