Story About "Bulgogi"

Spring is definitely prime barbecue season. And the most well known and popular Korean barbecue dish has to be bulgogi. With thin slices of beef marinated in bulgogi sauce then grilled to perfection, bulgogi is universally beloved for its sweet, salty, and meaty flavors. The marinade sauce is made up of ingredients such as soy sauce, garlic, sesame oil, black pepper, bit of ginger, and garnished with freshly chopped green onions. Bulgogi’s thinly cut beef slices is what makes its signature texture of chewy yet incredibly soft meat possible with the marinade sauce seeped thoroughly in the meat. Whether you have it at home or in restaurants, bulgogi has an addictive taste that has you reaching for more and more. There are many ways to enjoy grilled bulgogi. You can have it straight up or with banchans like kimchi. Another way to eat it is in a ssam. Get as much bulgogi as you please and wrap it in a piece of lettuce or perilla leaf. You can also add rice, banchans, and condiments like gochujang, which is hot pepper paste, or ssamjang, a Korean spicy sauce concoction, to the ssam. Finish wrapping up your ssam and enjoy!
